เคยเขียนถึง collective soul ในอัลบั้มก่อนหน้านี้ไปแล้วครั้งนึง = collective-soul-after-words

เพิ่งรู้ว่าปี 2009 เค้าออกอัลบั้มใหม่ชื่อ Rabbit ก็เลยหามาฟัง ลองกดไปฟัง My Days ดู

ผมว่าเพลงนี่คือ style ของวงนี้ เลยทีเดียว ไปล่ะ แวบๆ

เมื่อ 16 ปีที่แล้ว ในวันที่ 5 เมษายน พี่ Kurt Cobain นักร้อง/กีต้าส์ หัวหน้าวง Nirvana ได้นอนตายห่าในห้องพักของตัวเอง โดยมีหลักฐานเป็นปืนสั้นกระบอกนึงและคราบเลือด ไม่มีคนรู้ว่าเกิดอะไรขึ้น รู้แต่เพียง Kurt นั้นมีปัญหาทั้งด้านการเสพยาและสุขภาพจิต  รวมทั้งมีเมียที่ผิดปกติบ้าบอพอๆกัน สมัยนั้นมีคนเทียบว่า Kurt กับ Courtney นั่นคือ Sid กับ Nancy แห่งวง Sex Pistal ที่กลายเสมือนว่าเป็นบิดาแห่งวงการ Punk นั่นเอง

แม้บิดาแห่งกรั้นจ์จากไป 16 ปีแล้ว  จนทุกวันนี้ก็ยังมีคนพูดถึงอยู่อย่างสม่ำเสมอ แต่ปัจจุบันเพลงแนวนี้น่าจะเป็นอดีตไปแล้ว แม้แต่ Foo Fighter ก็ไม่น่าจะจุดกระแสขึ้นมาได้ ยกเว้นพี่ Dave Grohl จะหัดมาเต้นประกอบเพลง แนวๆ sorry sorry i am กระมิดๆ กระเมี๋ยนๆ ตามแบบเกาหลี ที่นิยมในเวลา นี้  เวลานี้ช่างผ่านไปได้เร็วเลยทีเดียว หวังว่าแฟนๆพี่ Kurt ยังคงสบายกันดีนะ
